There is no part in the world where travelers are not cheated or misguided by a few bad elements connected to travel trade like taxi drivers, travel agents, guides etc. who are out to make a quick buck. We as travelers like to reach our destinations as quickly as possible, and how so very often we get influenced by these strangers, treating them as messiahs of truth and change our minds from going to our pre-booked destinations of stay to their suggested accommodations. We end up cheated in all respects even to the extent of losing personal effects, money, travel documents and in some very nasty cases getting physically harmed. In our own town we would not let such a thing happen, as we remain so protective attributing motives and suspicions to nearly everything. But the moment we travel out we shed our protective shield, suspicions and even the rational thinking fully exposing ourselves to such few smart talking bad elements. We all do need to take a few precautions for an enjoyable and memorable trip.
- If you have made a booking with us or you decide to stay with us ....... come straight to Asian Guest House and please do not be misled by touts or taxi drivers in transit. They have a bad habit of taking visitors away from their pre-confirmed hotels just for the sake of hefty commissions offered by some dubious places, who pay them at your cost.
- Commuting from arrival points to Asian Guest House please use the Pre-paid Taxi / Three wheeler Service especially started and organised by the Delhi Traffic Police for the safety of the travelers from some misguided elements driving taxis and three wheelers.
- The special pre-paid taxi service booths are at all arrival points and are manned / under the supervision of the Delhi Traffic Police. Approach the traffic constable on duty in case of any problems. Make use of the complaint form if you are not satisfied.
- Please use only Pre-paid yellow-black local taxi / three wheeler services from arrival points, private taxis cost more and finally it is your choice as per your budget.
- There is no three wheeler pre-paid service from the airports.
- To avail of Pre-paid Taxi Service from Indira Gandhi International Airport, exit the arrival lounge from Gate No. 2 (prominent direction signage exists) and just outside on the right hand side you would notice the booth.
- Get our address endorsed on the receipt.
- Sign the driver's copy of the receipt only on reaching the reception counter.
If the driver takes you somewhere else against your wishes take help of the ever visible mobile Police Petrol cars, their presence is 24 hours on roads in Delhi.
- We do not have any free pick up service from arrival points.
- When you book rooms with us, we would need to know your mode of travel to Delhi - for example, by air / train / road; Airline / train's name & No., airport / station & the scheduled arrival time. This helps us keep track of any delays in reaching us.
We hold your bookings, keeping in mind any delays caused due to the late arrivals of flights / trains, even if not paid in advance for the room.
- Please give us timely information through telephone / email should there be a change in your travel schedule like cancellation / postponement of your travel program, being held up due to such unavoidable circumstances that are not within your control.
- Our Entrance Gate is open 24 hours.
